You do not need to have any prior qualifications as Womb & Fertility Massage is a fully accredited short course, comprising of Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Health & Safety, Business & Management and the Massage techniques needed to fully perform Fertility Massage.

Fertility Massage Therapy is  accredited by Think Tree Professional Body, with full insurance and membership available. For further details please visit here

For Practitioners of complementary therapies who hold a recognised qualification in anatomy & physiology and are insured to touch the whole body, you will gain your certificate once all case studies/theory exam are completed as this course continues to be a CPD/CPE approved course with CTHA, FHT, IICT and MMA.

Why is this a Female only Course?

This course includes sitting in a circle of sisters; allowing for women to share, be heard and be nurtured on their own journey.

Is this the same as Mizan/Mayan/Abdominal Sacral Therapy?

I invite you to read my post here for further information.

What qualification will you gain?

On successful completion of the 5 day and exams a Womb & Fertility Massage Practitioner’s Certificate will be issued.

Are there any case studies to do?

If you choose to partake in the exam process and receive your certificate as a Womb & Fertility Massage Practitioner, then the requirement is 12 – 18 case studies.

What is involved in the exam process?

There will be an open book theory exam comprising of multiple choice and short answers which can be taken online .

The practical will involve students demonstrating the Fertility Massage as a full treatment on the final day of the course.

How long do I have to complete the exam and Case Studies?

You have 12 months to complete the process. If you have a life changing event during this time, you need to contact your tutor to advise them that you need an extension.

What happens if I don’t do the exam?

You will only receive your certificate once you have completed the case studies and theory exam. Without your certificate, you will not be able to practice legally or morally, and will not gain insurance.

If more than 2 years passes since your course and you have not completed the exams, you will need to fully refresh by attending the 4 day course again (at 50% rate) and you will have 6 months from this date to complete the exams.

Without the certificate, you have not completed the course, therefore you will not be listed on the website as a practitioner. We also ask for you to have integrity and not promote yourself as a practitioner without the certificate.

Why do we need to refresh after 3 years?

Guidelines from governing bodies are the first reason; to ensure that we keep our high standard within the industry, we need to ensure that all therapists are up to date with their skills as it is common that once we leave the course, we forget techniques and create some bad habits. The course continues to evolve over the years, therefore the techniques taught 3 years ago,  will change, which is exciting you can continue to add to your skillset.

Certificates are only valid for 3 years, therefore, you will need to attend a Refresher & Reassessment day to gain your new certificate.

Who is the course approved or recognised by?

Fertility Massage is accredited by Federation of Holistic Therapists, approved by CThA (Complimentary Therapists Association) and MMA (was AAMT in Australia) Fully accredited by Think Tree Hub.
